Aged to Vintage Top

Using a special process that we call ATV(Aged to Vintage) we treat the solid Engelmann spruce top to give it that big and open tone of a decades-old, highly-sought-after acoustic. This torrefaction process delivers that amazing tone to you right out of the box.

Solid Engelmann Spruce Top

More tactile and sensitive than Sitka spruce, Engelmann spruce exhibits a clear and smooth top-end that is responsive to a light soft touch, making it ideal for solo fingerstyle players or folk/pop singer-songwriters where the acoustic guitar takes center stage.

Solid Pau Ferro Back & Sides

Pau Ferro, also known as Morado, Santos Rosewood or Bolivian Rosewood boasts many of the qualities that are highly regarded in tonewood that is close to Indian Rosewood. It's stable, abrasion resistant, hard, attractive, exotic and has good impression strength parallel to the grain.

OM Cutaway Body

The OM’s compact size is ideal for players with a small body frame or seeking playing comfort. The bright and stronger high-midrange emphasis is more suited for finger picking than strumming which often requires more low-end. The Venetian cutaway on this model allows easy access to the high frets.

DoubleLock Neck Joint

The connection between a guitar’s neck and body is another key factor for great sound. On the Gold, we started with a tight fitting traditional dovetail neck joint. We then reinforced it by adding a bolt. This DoubleLock neck joint maximizes the transfer of tone and enhances resonance on the Gold.

Walnut Reinforced Neck

The neck on the Gold has been reinforced for added rigidity and stability using two special inserts. This is constructed with two pieces of walnut installed to add stability while still retaining the natural properties of wood to further upgrade the Gold.
